With nearly two decades of experience across corporate finance, investment banking, and strategic advisory, Shalin combines technical expertise, commercial perspective, and disciplined execution across every engagement.
He began his career in 2006, gaining experience across a Category I Merchant Banking institution and a leading consulting firm, before establishing his independent advisory practice in 2017. At Samvritti, he leads client relationships, strategic advisory mandates, and the firm’s overall direction, with a particular focus on valuation, capital markets, and transaction advisory.
His approach is rooted in first principles: understand the underlying problem, challenge assumptions, and then build the right solution. This combination of analytical rigour and practical commercial judgement enables him to advise clients with clarity across complex financial and strategic situations.
